As an Online Assistant you’ll be the special ingredient that supports a joyful shopping experience for our online customers.
Eligibility
- You must be above the school‑leaver age in your country (see GOV.UK for school‑leaving age).
- If the shifts cover hours earlier than 06:00 am or later than 11:00 pm, you must be at least 18 years of age.
- You must have Right‑to‑Work eligibility in the UK.
Working hours
The role is scheduled within an agreed availability pattern of shifts each week. You will receive a 3‑week notice of your confirmed weekly hours. Shift times include early starts (often 04:00 am) and night work.
What you’ll be doing
- Picking and selecting the best quality products on the shop floor that online customers have ordered, ready for delivery or providing suitable substitutions if items are out of stock.
- Using a handset that plans your route around the store, indicating what you need to select and how long you have to complete each shop.
- Working behind the scenes to handle customer queries, process orders and help load vans for Home Delivery Drivers.
- Offering the same level of service to customers in the store, proactively offering help and answering questions.
- Building product, service and promotion knowledge to provide recommendations.
- Working flexibly across the store as required.
