Our stores are fast-paced environments where no two days are ever the same. They are at the heart of the local community, providing outstanding value, quality and great service. As a Trading Assistant, you’ll be the special ingredient that ensures our stores are set up brilliantly to give customers everything they come to Sainsbury’s for.
Eligibility
- You must be above the school-leaver age in your country (school leaving age – GOV.UK)
- You must have Right to Work eligibility in the UK
- If the shift covers hours earlier than 6 am or later than 11 pm, you must be at least 18 years old
What you'll be doing
- Collect stock from the warehouse using heavy roll cages (up to 15 kg) to replenish items across the store, keeping shelves tidy and full of well‑presented products
- Always ready to serve customers brilliantly, supporting them with any questions and proactively offering help
- Build great knowledge about products, services and promotions to provide recommendations
- Check dates on fresh produce and grocery products
- Help across the store as needed and support with deliveries as required
