- What You'll Be Doing
- Lead, coach and develop a team of managers and colleagues, creating a high-performance culture that delivers outstanding results.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the site, embedding best practice and improving operational efficiency.
- Take ownership of fleet resources, stock inventory and maintenance activity to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Manage operational resources effectively to respond to changing customer demand and fluctuating volumes.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety and legal requirements while managing recruitment, succession planning and headcount needs.
- Deliver against key operational KPIs, budget targets and service level agreements.

- Proven leadership experience managing managers and large operational teams within a fast-paced, unionised environment.
- Strong background in multi-drop delivery, logistics, transport or final-mile operations.
- Experience delivering KPI performance, driving productivity improvements and controlling operational costs.

- Strong decision-making skills with the ability to react quickly to changing customer and operational demands.
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high operational standards.
