Everything our Nectar team does is powered by data and by strong relationships with some of the UK's favourite brands. The Nectar360 team develops loyalty programmes, turning insight into something that makes a real difference, across both traditional and digital media. It's like an agency within a retailer, and retail media is a crucial part of our future. The culture might not be what you expect either, because there's no setup quite like this one. The team is a real priority, connected to almost everything the business does and playing a key role in driving profitability. It's a place where you can take risks, learn from them, and be recognised.

Nectar360's Data & Insight team sits at the heart of how Sainsbury's and Argos partner with leading FMCG brands, using the UK's largest loyalty dataset to unlock powerful customer insights. Working in a fast-paced, collaborative and commercially focused environment, the team delivers multi-channel marketing and insight solutions that help brands better understand shopper behaviour and drive growth. You'll be joining a high-performing and energetic team that partners with some of the UK's most recognisable brands, where innovation, curiosity and continuous learning are at the core of how they operate.

As an Insight Consultant, you will take ownership of delivering insight consultancy projects end-to-end for a portfolio of strategic and development clients. You will use customer data and analytics to understand category performance and shopper behaviour, translating complex outputs into clear, compelling narratives that drive commercial decisions. Alongside project delivery, you will play a key role in identifying and shaping new consultancy opportunities, building a strong pipeline and contributing to the team's overall revenue targets.

Day to day, you will collaborate with analytics, market research, media planning and commercial teams to scope, design and deliver high-impact solutions. You will lead client conversations, develop proposals and manage project delivery, ensuring outputs are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard. You will also contribute to wider team initiatives, sharing knowledge and supporting the development of best practice across the function.

You bring experience from a consumer insights, analytics, market research or marketing environment, with the ability to interpret data and turn it into meaningful, actionable insight. You are comfortable working with customer datasets and have experience using tools such as Excel and PowerPoint to analyse and present findings. Your approach is commercial and client-focused, with the ability to understand business challenges and shape insight-led solutions.

You build effective relationships with stakeholders and clients, and are confident communicating recommendations clearly and persuasively. You are organised, able to manage multiple priorities, and take ownership of delivering projects from brief through to execution. You demonstrate curiosity, accountability and a proactive approach, and are motivated to contribute to both team performance and client success.

Essential Criteria:

  • Proven experience delivering insight, analytics or market research projects using customer or commercial data.
  • Demonstrable ability to translate data analysis into clear, insight-led recommendations and presentations.
  • Experience managing stakeholder or client relationships to deliver agreed commercial or project outcomes.
  • Ability to plan and manage multiple projects, ensuring delivery against defined timelines and budgets.
  • Working knowledge of data analysis and presentation tools, including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
