What you’ll do

As the Finance Manager – Finance Systems SAP SME focusing on Order to Cash (O2C), you will play a pivotal role in implementing the next generation of technology assets and accelerating changes to end-to-end financial processes, reporting, and controls. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing a deep understanding of current financial process flows.
  • Collaborating with business teams to drive standardised process efficiency and control improvements through the new ERP system.
  • Engaging in design, build, and testing cycles.
  • Producing high-quality training material.
  • Providing guidance to senior stakeholders and colleagues as a Finance subject matter expert.
  • Building strong partnerships to ensure effective programme delivery.
  • Identifying opportunities for process enhancement.
  • Managing risks and resolving system discrepancies.
  • Supporting system transition while maintaining data and process integrity.

Who you are

You are a seasoned professional with extensive experience in SAP Finance implementations and business process change. Your in-depth knowledge of financial processes, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable, coupled with your expertise in Order to Cash processes such as promotions, supplier funding, and financial settlement, make you a valuable asset in driving transformation and efficiency within the Finance function. With your strong stakeholder engagement skills, ability to provide guidance as a subject matter expert, and commitment to continuous improvement, you play a key role in ensuring the successful adoption of new technologies and processes to enhance financial integrity and support business objectives.

Essential Criteria

  • Demonstrable experience of delivering SAP Finance system implementations and business process change, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.
  • Proven knowledge of Order to Cash (O2C) processes within SAP, including promotions, supplier funding, Condition Contracts, financial settlement and SAP PMR.
  • Evidence of analysing, documenting and accounting for finance business processes, with an understanding of financial reporting, controls and system interfaces.
  • Proven ability to assess complex information, identify impacts, and communicate change requirements effectively to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  • Demonstrable experience of managing competing priorities and delivering agreed outcomes in a fast-paced, evolving project environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Desirable criteria

  • Professionally Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA).
  • Retail experience.
