Responsibilities
- Develop disruptive, engaging, social‑first content that resonates with Sainsbury’s audiences and enhances brand visibility across key platforms, primarily Instagram and TikTok.
- Work across recipe‑led ideas, lo‑fi food content, emerging trends and reactive social opportunities, turning references and inspiration into content that feels native, relevant and on‑brand.
- Attend briefings, identify creative opportunities, develop ideas, create storyboards, shot lists and simple treatment documents, and present content routes clearly to internal stakeholders and clients.
- Shoot and edit short‑form content on iPhone using tools such as CapCut, ensuring content feels authentic, immediate and platform‑native.
- Collaborate with the Zest social team, Sainsbury’s Digital Marketing team, food economists and the food innovation team to identify trends and turn them into content quickly.
- Work with in‑house studio team, food stylists, photographers, videographers and larger production teams on higher‑production projects, ensuring social‑first thinking is embedded from concept through to delivery.
Qualifications
- Proven experience creating engaging short‑form social content across major platforms, particularly Instagram and TikTok.
- Strong portfolio or examples demonstrating content creation, iPhone shooting, lo‑fi capture and short‑form editing.
- Experience creating content for food brands is preferable, with a strong interest in food, recipes and food trends.
- Ability to develop content ideas, storyboards, shot lists, reference packs and simple treatment documents.
- Confidence using iPhone, CapCut and other relevant social editing tools to create polished, platform‑native content.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work across social, digital marketing, food innovation, studio and production teams.
- Confidence presenting ideas and content routes clearly to clients and internal stakeholders.
