In a nutshell
Responsible for the management of Nectar marketing campaigns to drive participation/transactions with partners and Nectar programme engagement. Reporting to the Campaign Delivery Manager alongside other Campaign Delivery Executives.
What you need to do
- Manage the end to end delivery of Nectar campaigns and promotions from receiving the brief to deploying to the end customer.
- Responsible for the day to day tasks and management of individual offers through to tactical campaigns.
- Organise and traffic Nectar campaigns from the Planning teams and Partner Account Management team into channel delivery teams using a clear stage-by-stage process and project management tools.
- Working in a small team reporting to the Campaign Delivery Manager, with other campaign delivery executives for training and support in the wider Campaign Management team.
How will I succeed?
- Nectar customer lifecycle work streams – marketing campaigns targeted at strategic audiences.
- Nectar promotions – such as Travel partner promotions and Nectar’s Swipe to Win competitions.
- Partner solus activity – the promotion of partner marketing activity through Nectar channels.
- Nectar Multi-Channel Event/Promos – Longer term series of comms with multiple partner and channel involvement, plus seasonal events (Christmas).
- Offers in Nectar Offer stream – Weekly refreshed offers appearing in collectors’ mobile/web app and weekly coalition emails.
- Responsible for the creation of weekly refreshed offers to the Nectar Offer Stream ensuring offers adhere to the company’s brand guidelines.
- Working closely with the Analytics team to target collectors via segmentation tree for campaigns and offers using Visio.
- Add and index images to Nectar Offer Stream and weekly email coalition.
- Quality control of all offers that are issued to collectors via the Nectar Offer Stream and email coalition.
- Work closely with the Unica Development and Client Services team especially in the on-boarding of new sponsors and management of rejected offers.
Other activities:
- Brief Nectar’s offshore and onshore data delivery teams to produce data extracts and appends for Nectar's partners to use to send their own marketing communications promoting Nectar.
- Responsible for the set-up of some ad hoc awarding of Nectar points for campaigns trafficked through the Campaign Management team.
- Support the Marketing Strategy team in delivering audience segments for Facebook/Instagram/Google Ads advertising.
- Ensure all SLAs and deadlines are met and campaigns are delivered in the most efficient way.
- Work with data teams to ensure all Campaign Management work and processes are compliant with data governance guidelines.
- Follow all quality control processes across all areas of Campaign Management and ensure the brand is represented accurately and consistently across all communications.
- Implement standardisation and automation wherever possible for more cost and resource effective, faster and more personalised communications.
What we’d like you to have:
- Experience in a campaign operational, project management, operational marketing role or similar.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience in using project delivery/Kanban tools and platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal & team working skills.
- Experience in coordinating other team resources, enforcing deadlines, and being able to deal constructively with difficult conversations.
- Willingness, confidence and ability to take initiative and adapt to changes in work streams.
- Ability to lead work streams and to manage many projects concurrently.
- Ability to work well under pressure and produce desired results to strict deadlines.
- Ability to add value to the end-to-end lifecycle of a data driven campaign from concept development to execution and measurement.
- Thorough understanding of data segmentation and database marketing processes.
- Knowledge of the principles of email, app, social media marketing.
