As one of our Transport Planners you will be playing a central role in creating effective transport plans for our customer network, whilst complying with legal responsibilities.

Wed like to hear from you if You have transport experience within the logistics sector, you will be used to working as part of a team You are able to work on your own initiative, with the willingness to resolve complex issues.

You have good knowledge of transport hours and regulations You have good geographical knowledge of the UKYou have experience of working closely with transport operations What youll be doing Ensuring the daily plan is completed in real-time, managing resources effectively, maximizing utilization whilst minimizing cost Controlling and planning the agreed amount of resource (vehicles, drivers, trailers); ensuring all legal requirements are adhered to (Working Time Directive and EU Drivers hours' regulations)Understanding and achieving key performance targets relating to the safety and efficiency of our fleet (including utilization and costing)Creating collection plans to inform suppliers of loading requirements.
