This role is part of Marketing Insight within the Insight Team, responsible for creating, collating, and analyzing complex data and research to inform marketing decisions for our GM brands (Argos and Habitat). The role involves acting as a critical sounding board, being anticipatory, and ensuring customer focus in decision-making. You will work with stakeholders to understand brand performance and present insights compellingly to guide marketing strategies, from campaign development to evaluation.

What you need to do:

  • Collaborating with Insight managers, the Customer Insight team, and stakeholders to support marketing priorities through research, reporting, and insights.
  • Building relationships with Planning, Propositions, and Campaigns teams, contributing insights to decision-making forums.
  • Championing customer understanding by exploring emotional needs, behaviors, and motivations, and translating these into business insights.
  • Supporting strategic propositions from concept to evaluation, including post-implementation performance analysis.
  • Managing the campaign evaluation tracker, ensuring proper tracking and actionable recommendations.
  • Reporting on brand tracking, providing insights into the 'why' behind metrics to inform future strategies.
  • Leading projects that enhance understanding of marketing propositions and campaigns, using a mix of data, customer insights, and primary research.
  • Managing ad hoc research projects from briefing to debrief, selecting methodologies, and liaising with agencies.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with agencies to foster collaboration and explore new insights sources and techniques.
  • Communicating insights effectively through storytelling, presenting data compellingly, and linking customer metrics to business outcomes.
  • Assessing existing knowledge and identifying gaps before resource allocation, managing projects within scope and budget.
  • Prioritizing tasks to meet stakeholder expectations and deadlines, delivering high-quality work.
