As one of our Home Delivery Drivers, you’ll be one of the special ingredients that delivers everything our online customers shop for at Sainsbury’s.
- You must be over 18 and have held a full UK/EU driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points on it.
- You will complete an online driving risk assessment as part of your interview and, if you’re successful, there’ll be a driving assessment when you join us.

What you’ll be doing
- Driving a 3.5 tonne van to deliver groceries to customers’ doorsteps on time and in great condition.
- Completing checks to ensure the van is organised, clean and roadworthy, and that delivery cases are secure before setting out to drive safely in a variety of locations and conditions.
- Serving our customers brilliantly, supporting them with any questions and substitutions, and keeping them aware of any delays.
- Building great knowledge about our products, services and promotions to help provide recommendations.
- When not making deliveries, helping across the store as needed.
