As a Home Delivery Driver, you’ll be an essential part of delivering everything our online customers shop at Sainsbury’s.
Eligibility
- You must be over 18.
- You must have held a full UK/EU driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points.
- You must have Right to Work eligibility in the UK.
- You will complete an online driving risk assessment as part of your interview and a driving assessment when you join us.
Responsibilities
- Drive a 3.5‑tonne van to deliver groceries to customer doorsteps on time and in great condition.
- Perform checks to ensure the van is organised, clean, roadworthy, and that delivery cases are secure before driving.
- Serve customers brilliantly, support with any questions, substitutions, and keep them aware of any delays.
- Build great knowledge about products, services and promotions to provide recommendations.
- Help across the store as needed when not delivering.
