As one of our Home Delivery Drivers, you’ll be a vital ingredient that delivers everything our online customers shop at Sainsbury’s for.

Eligibility

  • Must be over 18 and have held a full UK/EU driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points on it
  • Must have Right to Work eligibility in the UK
  • Will complete an online driving risk assessment as part of the interview and, if successful, will undergo a driving assessment when you join us

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Driving a 3.5‑tonne van to deliver groceries to customers’ doorsteps on time and in great condition
  • Completing checks to ensure the van is organised, clean and roadworthy, and that delivery cases are secure before getting out onto the road
  • Serving customers brilliantly, supporting with questions and substitutions, and keeping them aware of any delays
  • Building great knowledge about our products, services and promotions to help provide recommendations
  • Helping across the store as needed when not out making deliveries
