As one of our Home Delivery Drivers, you’ll be one of the special ingredients that delivers everything our online customers shop at Sainsbury’s.
Eligibility
- You must be over 18 and have held a full UK/EU driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points on it
- You will complete an online driving risk assessment as part of your interview and, if you’re successful, there’ll be a driving assessment when you join us
- You must have Right to Work eligibility in the UK
What you’ll be doing
- Driving a 3.5 tonne van to deliver groceries to customers’ doorsteps on time and in great condition
- Completing checks to ensure the van is organized, clean, and roadworthy, and that delivery cases are secure before driving safely in a variety of locations and conditions
- Serving customers brilliantly, supporting with any questions and substitutions, and keeping them aware of any delays
- Building great knowledge about our products, services and promotions to help provide recommendations
- Helping across the store as needed when not making deliveries
