Our stores are fast‑paced environments where no two days are ever the same and food is our passion. As one of our Home Delivery Drivers, you’ll be one of the special ingredients that delivers everything our online customers shop for at Sainsbury’s.
- You must be over 18 and have held a full UK/EU driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points on it.
- You will complete an online driving risk assessment as part of your interview and, if you’re successful, there’ll be a driving assessment when you join us.
- You must have Right to Work eligibility in the UK.

What you’ll be doing
- Driving a 3.5 tonne van to deliver groceries to customers’ doorsteps on time and in great condition.
- Completing checks to ensure the van is organised, clean and roadworthy, and that delivery cases are secure before setting out to drive safely in a variety of locations and conditions.
- Serving our customers brilliantly, supporting them with any questions and substitutions, and keeping them aware of any delays.
- Building great knowledge about our products, services and promotions to help provide recommendations.
- When not making deliveries, helping across the store as needed.
