Job Title: Group Product Manager – Argos App (12-Month Fixed Term) Location: Flexible (one day a week from the London office) About Us: At Argos, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional digital experiences to our customers. We are looking for a talented Group Product Manager to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term basis to lead and inspire our product management team. Role Overview: As the Group Product Manager for the Argos App, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and execution of our app\’s product strategy. You will line manage a Product Manager and a Senior Product Manager, ensuring that our app continues to meet the needs of our customers and drives business growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a passion for creating innovative digital solutions. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute the product strategy for the Argos App, aligning with the company\’s overall goals and objectives. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of product managers, including a Product Manager and a Senior Product Manager, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and customer support, to deliver high-quality product features and enhancements. Conduct market research and analyse customer feedback to identify opportunities for product improvements and new features. Define and prioritise the product roadmap, ensuring timely delivery of key initiatives. Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to measure the success of the app and make data-driven decisions. Communicate product vision, strategy, and progress to stakeholders at all levels of the organisation. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure the Argos App remains competitive and innovative. What we’re looking for: Proven experience in product management, with a track record of successfully leading and delivering App centric products. Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience managing and developing a team of product managers. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. Passion for digital innovation and a deep understanding of mobile app development.
