Love food and preparing great quality products for customers? As a Food Services Assistant you’ll be doing exactly that as you prepare a range of great tasting products for our customers, including breads, pastries, sweet treats and seasonal items. You’ll ensure the products are beautifully displayed so that they are enticing for our customers and be tuned in to what they want to ensure they’re receiving an experience that will keep them coming back to shop with us.

You don’t need to bring any previous food or retail experience because we’ll teach you everything you need to know. What matters is that you have a passion for food and delivering exceptional customer service. Whilst not essential, an understanding of technology and sales will help get customers excited about our products.

If the shifts for this role cover hours earlier than 6am or later than 11pm, you will need to be at least 18 years of age. Sainsbury's will only recruit individuals who have passed the school leaver's age.
