Help our customers start their holidays off to a fantastic start as one of our trusted Travel Money Advisors. You’ll provide excellent service in our in-store Travel Money bureaus and be a key part of our Winning Team, making a real difference.
You’ll represent Travel Money for Sainsbury\’s Bank, building good relationships with customers and delivering friendly service that encourages repeat business.
Your main focus will be on handling currency, so attention to detail is crucial. While you\’ll be supported by a close-knit team, you\’ll often manage the bureau independently, so confidence in decision-making is essential.
Previous experience in finance or cash handling is preferred, but not required, as we provide comprehensive training. What matters most is your passion for helping people, keen eye for detail, and comfort working with large sums of money and figures.
In addition to a competitive pay rate, we offer a range of benefits:
- Discount card – after 4 weeks, enjoy 10% off most items in Sainsbury’s, Argos, and Habitat, with increased discounts on specific days.
- Generous holiday entitlement based on hours worked.
- Family leave – including maternity and paternity leave.
- Pension scheme – Sainsbury’s matches 4-7% of your contributions.
- Sainsbury’s share schemes – save directly from your pay to buy shares at discounted prices, with options to buy shares regularly to build investments.
- Wellbeing support – including free access to Unmind, a mental wellbeing app, and our Employee Assistance Programme offering confidential support on various topics.
- Colleague networks – fostering an inclusive environment where everyone can be themselves and reach their potential.
- Cycle to work scheme – hire a bike and accessories, saving on tax and national insurance.
- Shopping discounts – special offers on gym memberships, restaurants, holidays, retail vouchers, and more.
Flexible shift patterns are available, including early, late, and weekend shifts, so you can find a schedule that works for you.
Due to the role’s nature, successful candidates will need to consent to a DBS and credit check.
