More about the role
As a New Business Buyer, you will be responsible for translating and delivering the SDF New Business category strategy to achieve agreed KPIs including sales, margin, stock, availability, digital performance and customer satisfaction. Alongside this, you will support the New Business Manager in shaping category direction, provide guidance to junior team members and ensure all activity is delivered in line with legal and compliance requirements.

You understand how to translate strategy into commercial outcomes and are confident managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. You are numerically confident and able to interpret multiple data sources to inform decisions and identify opportunities to improve performance.
You are a confident communicator who can build effective relationships with stakeholders and suppliers at all levels, influencing decisions and driving alignment to deliver results.
