The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.
As a Bookings Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring that transport and depot bookings are accurately created and managed in line with SLA requirements. You will manage booking amendments, supplier setups, stock receipting, and query resolution, collaborating with key stakeholders to maintain efficiency and compliance. Additionally, you will support administrative tasks, generate reports, and provide training to colleagues while driving best practices across booking operations.
What I am accountable for:
- Make bookings (Imports & Domestic): Create bookings across all channels including General Merchandise, Argos and Clothing. Ensure all bookings are optimised in line with daily plan and SLA requirements and include Double Drop, Airfreight/Turkey Stock, and Domestic Stock.
- Amend bookings: Update systems (Domestic & Imports) to reflect changes in ETA to ensure accurate tracking and minimise disruptions.
- Supplier set-up (Imports & Domestic): Set up suppliers in C3.
- Administrative tasks, file & data management: Maintain accurate files, archive outdated records, manage audit set up issues, refresh data management, run audits/reports for key stakeholders.
- Manage ad hoc queries related to booking planning, report setup, stock issues: Handle queries with suppliers, transport teams, commercial teams, merchandisers, supply chain logistics.
- Stock receipt management: Work closely with relevant teams to resolve issues related to stock receipting while ensuring adherence to inbound requirements.
- Training and development: Provide training for new colleagues, offer one-on-one support to existing team members as required.
- Team collaboration meetings: Participate in team project meetings, work closely with CFT Planners, manage the administration of clerical tasks.
What I need to know (Essential):
- Must demonstrate a strong customer focus.
- Experience in bookings, logistics, supply chain or administration.
- Strong understanding of booking systems like Tops, K&N, C3.
- Knowledge of stock management, inbound logistics.
- Ability to liaise with suppliers, transport teams, merchandisers.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Desirable:
- Experience in retail or FMCG environments.
- Familiarity with supply chain distribution, inventory management.
- Training experience, ability to support colleagues.
- Experience in process improvements, booking processes.
