What you'll do
In your role as a Copywriter within the Nectar team, you will play a crucial part in crafting engaging, compelling, and on-brand copy. Working as part of the Creative & Design team, your responsibilities will involve creating and reviewing content that forms the foundation of how Nectar connects with customers in meaningful and relevant ways. Collaborating closely with clients and cross-functional teams, you will develop a deep understanding of creative objectives, helping to shape and deliver ideas that build brand credibility and drive engagement. With a keen eye for detail, you will ensure consistency across tone of voice, style, and messaging across all Nectar communications and channels. You will also contribute to maintaining high standards of quality and craftsmanship across all outputs, support the development of junior team members, and stay close to industry trends to bring fresh and innovative thinking into the team.
Who you are
As a Copywriter, you are a highly creative and skilled professional with a passion for crafting engaging, compelling, and on-brand copy. With a minimum of three years experience in marketing copywriting, ideally within retail or FMCG, you bring a strong understanding of digital, CRM and multi-channel marketing. You are confident translating complex ideas into clear, engaging content and can adapt your writing style across different formats and audiences. A collaborative and proactive team player, you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working closely with stakeholders to bring creative ideas to life. Your attention to detail, adaptability, and strong interpersonal skills enable you to build trusted relationships and deliver work that resonates with customers while supporting the wider creative vision of the Nectar team.
Essential criteria
- Proven ability to create engaging, on-brand copy across multiple channels: Digital, Social, In-store and Direct / CRM.
- Experience developing brand tone of voice, messaging, and storytelling.
- Experience translating creative briefs into compelling copy solutions within an in-house creative agency.
- Experience contributing to creative idea development and campaign thinking.
