As a Finance Analyst - Business Transformation, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Finance Managers to drive the financial performance of key strategic programmes and initiatives. Working closely with various stakeholders, you will provide financial support for decision-making processes, ensuring that the financial implications are fully understood and integrated into business cases. Your responsibilities will include delivering key financial analysis and recommendations to commercial teams, managing stakeholder groups, and leading finance end-to-end workstreams to drive improvements and efficiencies in reporting processes. Your ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, work independently, and prioritise tasks under pressure will be essential in contributing to the successful implementation and measurement of the company's 3-year strategy.
You are a qualified or part-qualified accountant with a strong track record of driving financial performance and supporting strategic decision-making within a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Your advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, coupled with your ability to effectively communicate with senior stakeholders, enable you to provide valuable financial insights and analysis that drive business growth and transformation. You are self-motivated, highly organised, and adept at managing priorities under pressure, showcasing your ability to navigate ambiguity and deliver impactful financial support that aligns with the company's strategic objectives.
Essential Criteria
- Qualified or part-qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA) with demonstrable knowledge of accounting principles
- Commercial finance or management accounting experience
- Proficiency in advanced Excel functions (e.g., pivot tables, lookups, power pivots, macros) and PowerPoint for financial reporting and analysis
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders, both verbally and in writing
- Proven ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively under pressure
- Demonstrable experience in building collaborative relationships with senior stakeholders
