What you\’ll do
As an Assistant Merchandiser within our Household Electrical team, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of customer-focused product ranges. Your responsibilities will include reviewing weekly trading performance, conducting analysis to identify potential issues and opportunities. You will be responsible for managing category and range forecasts, ensuring optimal sales, stock holding, margin, and availability. Additionally, you will liaise with suppliers to ensure stock availability and manage any gaps in supply. Your role will involve executing the booking process and communicating promotional volumes, as well as managing new lines and vendor-specific promotions. You will work closely with the Merchandiser/Senior Merchandiser to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues that may arise. As part of your responsibilities, you will oversee the timely delivery of stock into the warehouse and ensure maximum availability across all sales channels. Strong analytical and numerical skills, proficiency in MS Excel, and attention to detail are essential for success in this role. Additionally, as a member of our team, a positive and proactive approach in building relationships with stakeholders is crucial.
