Important checks before you apply You must have Right to Work eligibility in the UK The minimum application age for this role is 18, due to the working hours and type of goods (alcohol, etc) that you may be required to handle What youll be doing Getting the store ready for the day ahead by filling shelves, working at a good steady pace throughout the night and being prepared to work with a variety of product types Keeping your workspace tidy for other colleagues and making sure our aisles are clean, presentable and ready for our customers the next day Collecting and moving stock safely from the warehouse to the shopfloor, including heavy equipment and containers Working across different parts of the store, which could include chilled and frozen areas Using equipment, handsets and digital systems to complete your work accurately and safely Helping in other areas when needed, which could include picking online orders or serving customers at checkouts once youre trained and confident What it takes to be part of our team Friendly and welcoming, with a genuine enthusiasm for delivering for customers Working nights takes energy, resilience and a hands-on approach, so you will be ready to work in a physically demanding role and able to adapt to the disruption that working over-night can have on well-being and sleep Committed team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is always willing to support colleagues and work together Flexibly and willingness to work across the store and take on new challenges Open to learning, developing and trying new things to improve our service Confident learning to use new digital tools and technology to do your job brilliantly Take pride and ownership in your work, including a good attention to detail, maintaining a clean and tidy work space and always looking for ways to make our customer experience better Supporting you at work and beyond We offer our colleagues a wide range of rewards and provide competitive benefits: Nightshift premium in addition to the advertised hourly rate, a further Β£2.45 nightshift premium is paid for every hour worked between midnight 5am (where applicable).
