About the role: The District Manager is a brand new role. They will lead teams of around 16 Store Managers and be the operational experts within the Argos business, providing hands‑on support and daily coaching opportunities to boost business performance and achieve store KPIs. Although a field‑based role we expect our District Managers to be in their shops, operating on‑the‑ground to drive performance in their teams, championing operational excellence and ensuring process compliance, everything they do is around making every Argos experience a brilliant one for our customers.
Essential Criteria
- Demonstrates a focus on customer service, putting the customer at the heart of key decisions.
- Demonstrates success in having had a positive influence on KPIs and business performance.
- Demonstrates the importance of building relationships.
- Understands the importance of prioritisation to generate the most successful results.
- Experience in managing ER cases.
- A proven ability to lead teams of managers, experience doing this remotely would be advantageous.
- With a key focus on coaching and development.
