What you\\\’ll do

In the role of Fulfilment Analytics Business Partner at Sainsbury\’s, you will lead the Argos Fulfilment Analytics team, driving data-led decisions for strategic change programmes by providing insights and informing business strategy through data interrogation. You will manage a high-calibre team of analysts, deliver data-led insights, identify root causes and performance improvements in fulfilment strategy, act as a subject matter expert in analytics, collaborate with stakeholders, communicate findings effectively, and uphold the values of the organisation to drive impactful solutions that support the company\\\’s Next Level strategy. You will business partner with key stakeholders across Supply Chain, Logistics, Strategy and Planning teams.

As a Fulfilment Analytics Business Partner at Sainsbury\’s, you are an experienced leader with a strategic mindset and a passion for leveraging data insights to drive impactful solutions that align with the company\\\’s Next Level strategy. Your proficiency in leading high-performing analytics teams, coupled with your technical expertise in SQL, Python, and data storytelling, enables you to deliver actionable recommendations and influence business strategy through data-driven decision-making. Collaborative, analytical, and driven by a commitment to excellence, you excel in identifying root causes, driving performance improvements, and fostering strong stakeholder relationships to achieve business objectives effectively.

Essential Criteria

  • Demonstrable experience leading analytics teams, including coaching, upskilling, and managing the full analytics lifecycle from scoping to delivery.
  • Proven experience working in logistics, with a track record of applying analytics to fulfilment or supply chain environments.
  • Technical proficiency in SQL and either R or Python, with a background in applying statistical methods to business problems.
  • Evidence of effective cross-functional stakeholder collaboration, including requirements gathering, analysis development, and influencing business decisions.
