In Sainsbury's Tech, we power the UK's number 1 multi-channel, multi-brand retailer. Our product teams are made up of inspired and multidiscipline individuals who are empowered to solve hard problems in ways our customers love and serve the needs of our business. As an Agile Coach you'll play a key role across Sainsbury's Tech, working to drive the development of agility through the application of technical, business and transformation mastery. The role enables the organisation to understand its ongoing evolution, developing insight and understanding around improvement opportunities and works to shape coaching focus accordingly.
The Agile Coach is an agile practitioner who can lead by example and demonstrate effective coaching in practice.

- Embed agile principles and practices across Sainsbury's Tech, partnering with leadership, teams, and stakeholders to enable early and continuous delivery of customer value.
- Facilitate continuous improvement in ways of working across Sainsbury's Tech through catalysing effective and sustainable change.
- Showcase emerging agile tools and techniques, developing awareness and understanding to support effective adoption in practice.
- Work with leadership, teams and stakeholders to develop shared awareness of improvement opportunities across Sainsbury's Tech.
- Develop insights and data to inform regular cycles of reflection and improvement.
- Grow an effective agile community of practice, building excellence around the active sharing of knowledge, insights and experiences across the breadth of the organisation.
- Develop coaching strategy, focus and priorities aligning to the wider Sainsbury's Tech vision and strategy.

- Knowledge and significant experience of applying a range of Agile/Lean/DevOps principles and practices.
- Understanding of technical and business agility practices, and their role in enabling the early and continuous realisation of value.
- Understanding of agile software development practices.
- Experience in enabling transformation and improvement across a range of teams.
- Exceptionally developed coaching, mentoring, teaching and facilitation skills with teams and individuals.
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and experience of working in matrix structures.
- Innovative and focused on continuous improvement, comfortable challenging the status quo and enabling change.
- Able to motivate and lead others as a coach.
- Evidence of coaching skills at a senior level.

- Deep understanding of Agile/Lean/DevOps principles and practices.
- Proven experience coaching teams and leaders at different levels of agile maturity.
- Strong facilitation and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to influence organisational change.
