With teams focused on store-facing activity, labour, transformation, online, delivery and contact centres, we touch almost every part of the business. The Transformation Division plays a pivotal role in translating business strategy into high-impact programmes that drive growth, enhance customer experience, and support long-term sustainable performance. Working in close partnership with senior leaders and Finance, the team operates across the organisation to shape and deliver initiatives that enable the business to remain competitive in a fast-moving retail landscape. As part of this dynamic and collaborative function, you will contribute to a multi-year transformation agenda that delivers meaningful outcomes for both colleagues and customers.
As a Transformation Manager, you will lead complex, cross-functional initiatives from initial discovery and shaping through to delivery handover. You will be responsible for bringing clarity to ambiguous challenges by identifying the right business questions, applying an outcome-driven approach, and developing practical, evidence-based solutions. This includes building robust business cases, establishing governance frameworks, and coordinating matrix teams to deliver change effectively.
On a day-to-day basis, you will collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to identify opportunities, manage risks, and influence key decisions. You may work on initiatives focused on revenue generation, cost optimisation, or the design and delivery of strategic transformation programmes. You will also play an active role in embedding agile ways of working and fostering a culture that supports innovation, experimentation, and continuous improvement.
You bring demonstrable experience of delivering strategic, project-based change and are comfortable working in environments where direction and requirements may not be fully defined. You are confident using data, insight, and external perspectives to inform decision-making, and can distil complex information into clear, actionable recommendations aligned to broader business and customer objectives.
You are a proactive and curious individual who approaches challenges with resilience and a growth mindset. You build credibility quickly and can influence effectively at all organisational levels through clear, structured communication. You champion collaborative ways of working and foster an environment where teams are encouraged to think creatively, test ideas, and deliver measurable outcomes.
Strength in end-to-end strategic thinking, being outcome-centric & hypothesis-led.
Experience in Supply chain and Logistics.
Experience of successful cross-functional working (across the breadth of the business) at scale.
Well organized with experience of working within change or programme management.
Successful experience of working on shaping and implementing major Change projects/programmes.
A strength in using data, insight and external innovation to drive complex decisions/projects.
