  • Wednesday: 22:00 – 07:00
  • Thursday: 21:00 – 07:00
  • Friday: 21:00 – 07:00
  • Saturday: 21:00 – 07:00

As a Trading Assistant, you will be the special ingredient that ensures our stores are set up brilliantly to give our customers everything they come to Sainsbury’s for.

Eligibility

  • The minimum application age for this role is 18, due to the working hours and type of goods (alcohol, etc.) that you may be required to handle.
  • You must have Right to Work eligibility in the UK.

What you’ll be doing

  • Collecting stock from the warehouse using heavy roll cages (up to 15 kg) to replenish a variety of items across the store, keeping shelves clean, tidy and full of well‑presented products.
  • Always ready to serve customers brilliantly when the store is open, supporting with any questions and proactively offering help.
  • Date‑checking fresh produce and grocery products.
  • Helping across the store as needed and supporting with deliveries as required.
