Location Hybrid - London Store Support Centre + home (approximately 2 days per week, office-based)

What you’ll do:

  • As a Senior People Partner, you will support the Head of People Partnering to deliver the Finance people plan across defined areas of the function.
  • You’ll use data and insight to diagnose people and organisational challenges and translate these into clear, actionable interventions.
  • You’ll work closely with leaders to support the delivery of people priorities, including performance, talent, and engagement, and to track progress against key people metrics.
  • A key part of the role is building leadership capability—coaching and supporting leaders to strengthen performance, develop their teams and manage people matters effectively.
  • You’ll also provide practical insight and challenge to support decisions on people, structure and culture.
  • You will support organisational design and the delivery of transformation activity, ensuring people elements of change are effectively implemented and sustained.
  • Alongside this, you’ll support talent and succession activity within your areas, helping identify and develop key talent.
  • Working closely with Centres of Expertise and the wider People team, you’ll ensure a joined-up approach that enables Finance teams to deliver their priorities.

Who you are:

  • You’re an experienced People Partner with a strong track record of operating in a complex commercial environment, previously partnering either within the Finance, Corporate, or Commercial functions.
  • You are confident working with senior leaders, using data and insight to inform decisions and support the delivery of people priorities.
  • You bring strong relationship-building skills and are comfortable both supporting and constructively challenging leaders.
  • You have experience coaching leaders to improve capability and performance and are confident working across a broad range of people topics, including talent, organisational design and employee relations.
  • You are also comfortable supporting change and transformation activities.

Demonstrable track record operating as a People / HR Business Partner in a complex commercial environment, working in partnership with centres of expertise.

Proven ability to partner with and influence senior stakeholders to deliver people and organisational outcomes.

Evidenced analytical capability, with the ability to interpret people and business data to diagnose issues, inform decisions and implement practical solutions that deliver measurable outcomes.

Track record of supporting organisational change and delivering people elements of transformation programmes.

Broad, applied knowledge across core people disciplines, including talent, performance, organisational design and employee relations.

Proven capability to coach leaders to build capability and improve performance.
