What you’ll do

As the Retail Finance Performance Analytics Manager, you will be at the forefront of driving innovation and leveraging technology to enhance productivity, uncover new insights, and implement automation in support of Retail and Commercial Finance stakeholders. Your role will involve delivering ad hoc analysis and insights to enhance retail performance, championing the development of quality assets that comply with internal control frameworks, and leading efforts to enhance digital literacy and promote data democratisation within the team. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring work quality aligns with risk appetite and digital control frameworks, minimising interruptions to reporting and process automation, while also deputising for the Head of Finance when necessary.

With a background in finance and expertise in data analysis tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, and Snowflake, you possess a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to enhancing retail performance. Your ability to build strong relationships, prioritise effectively, and drive change while managing conflicts demonstrates your commitment to delivering high-quality results and pushing boundaries to achieve success as part of a dynamic team.

  • Demonstrable experience in data analysis, including the ability to translate data into actionable insights that support commercial performance
  • Demonstrable finance knowledge through qualification or experience
  • Proficiency in business intelligence tools, such as Power BI or Tableau, with evidence of practical application
  • Working knowledge of SQL or Snowflake, and experience using BI platforms for data querying and reporting
  • Experience with ETL tools, such as Alteryx or equivalent, to manage and transform data effectively
  • Ability to engage stakeholders proactively, with a track record of building effective relationships across multi-channel environments
