Joining Sainsbury's as a Logistics Portfolio Manager means being part of a transformative team dedicated to designing and implementing innovative solutions within our Logistics and Fulfilment Division. With a focus on network and automation transformation, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our operations and driving positive change across the organisation. As a key player in our dynamic and collaborative environment, you will have the opportunity to lead complex change programmes, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and drive impactful outcomes that benefit our customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities:

  • Play a vital role in the Network & Automation Transformation team within the Logistics and Fulfilment Division.
  • Collaborate with various business functions to design the future Logistics network, develop partnership strategies, and implement automation engineering operations.
  • Report to the Head of Transformation Office and shape and deliver the 3+ year Transformation agenda.
  • Ensure alignment between the Transformation Vision, in‑flight Portfolio, and progress tracking.
  • Own and maintain the programme plan, manage stakeholder relationships, facilitate project reviews, coordinate resource planning, track lessons learned for continuous improvement, and provide expertise in project governance.

Your ability to build strong relationships, drive positive outcomes, and support informed decisions will be essential in successfully delivering complex change programmes and driving the company towards its strategic goals.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in leading complex change programmes and managing diverse stakeholder relationships.
  • Ability to facilitate workshops, drive desired outcomes, and coach others in project management processes.
  • Focus on continuous improvement, financial control, and risk management.
