What you'll do
As a Partnership Executive at Sainsbury's, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Senior Community and Partnerships Manager in developing and executing impact campaigns with key corporate partner Comic Relief, as well as other strategic partners, to address food poverty within our communities. Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing relationships with partners
- Driving fundraising efforts across various channels
- Coordinating activation plans and campaigns
- Ensuring accurate donation processing
- Fostering internal and external relationships to deliver on our commitments and generate positive social impact
- Managing the Partnerships budget
- Anticipating risks
- Serving as the ambassador for our food poverty community programme and partnership with Comic Relief across the organisation
Who you are
You are a dedicated professional with a passion for driving social impact and building meaningful relationships with corporate charity partners to address food poverty in communities. With previous experience in developing effective social impact campaigns and strong project management skills, you thrive in a fast-paced retail environment and excel in prioritising tasks, influencing stakeholders, and ensuring the successful execution of impactful initiatives. Your attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to think strategically make you a valuable asset in coordinating partnerships, driving fundraising efforts, and ensuring the delivery of impactful campaigns that resonate with customers, colleagues, and key stakeholders.
Current demonstrable experience working within the retail sector, with a strong understanding of customer needs and how to deliver social activity that resonates with customers and communities. Experience working alongside charity partners to develop and deliver social impact activities or campaigns. Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver at pace. Ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships across different teams and partner organisations. Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving. Self-motivated, resilient and comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced retail environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with creative thinking and copywriting experience.
