We'd all like amazing work to do, and real work-life balance. That's waiting for you here at Sainsbury's. For a FTSE business, we move incredibly fast. When we're not leading projects, we're supporting teams across the wider group to achieve their goals. And here, you can see the impact of your work as soon as you walk into a store, giving you a real sense of purpose and responsibility. Better still, the team around you will listen to your ideas and opinions, and you'll have every chance to try something new. The scale and complexity of our business mean there's always something new to learn, and we'll support you every step of the way. We're trusted to get on with it. So get ready to make things happen.

This is a hybrid role with a base location in either London or Edinburgh. The team typically comes together in the office for 1-2 days per week, mostly on Wednesdays.

We're looking for a Marketing Campaign Executive to join our Financial Services Business and support the next phase of our White Label customer acquisition activity. You'll be part of a small, agile marketing team working across digital and traditional channels, partnering closely with third parties, Nectar and wider Sainsbury's teams to continually develop, grow and innovate our customer marketing approach. This is an opportunity to contribute to work that helps customers understand and engage with the management and delivery of marketing plans and activities for our Sainsbury's Money products, while bringing together customer insight, commercial thinking, governance, and channel planning to deliver campaigns that are clear, compliant, and effective.

What you'll do

  • Support the planning, management and delivery of marketing plans and activities for Sainsbury's Money products.
  • Coordinate campaign activity, support paid media planning across Google and Meta, manage stakeholder input, track approvals and sign-offs, monitor competitors, and help turn customer and product insights into actionable marketing plans.
  • Work closely with the marketing team and a range of internal and external partners to support the execution of multi-channel, multi-product content.

Who you are

  • Bring practical marketing campaign experience with the ability to work across multiple teams, suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Comfortable translating product propositions, customer journeys and promotional requirements into clear guidance for cross-functional teams, while keeping customer outcomes and regulatory considerations front of mind.
  • Organised, curious and adaptable, with the confidence to manage competing priorities, use data-led insight to evaluate activity and identify opportunities to simplify or improve ways of working.
  • Demonstrate Sainsbury's valued behaviours by owning your work, doing what you say you'll do, staying open to feedback and building trusted relationships with colleagues, partners and customers.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience delivering digital marketing campaigns within financial services.
  • Working knowledge of paid media platforms, including Google and Meta.
  • Evidence of coordinating multi-channel or multi-product campaign delivery, including planning, creative briefs, approvals, sign-offs, and outcome reporting.
  • Proven ability to manage matrix stakeholder relationships across product or commercial teams, channel experts, agencies and external partners.
  • Practical experience using campaign performance or analytical platforms, such as Adobe Analytics, to evaluate activity and recommend optimisation.

We are committed to being a truly inclusive retailer so you'll be welcomed whoever you are and wherever you work. Around here, there's always the chance to try something new - whether that's as part of an evolving team or somewhere else across the business - and we take development seriously and promise to support you. We also recognise and celebrate colleagues when they go the extra mile and, where possible, offer flexible working.

When you join our team, we'll also offer you an amazing range of benefits. Here are some of them:

  • Starting off with colleague discount, you'll be able to save 10% on your shopping online and instore at Sainsbury's, Argos, TU and Habitat, and we regularly increase the discount to 15% at points during the year.
  • Pensions scheme and life cover.
  • Performance-related bonus of up to 10% of salary, depending on how we perform.
  • Annual holiday allowance and the option to buy up to an additional week's holiday.
  • Benefits that will help your money go further such as season ticket loans, cycle to work scheme, health cash plans, salary advance (where you can access some of your pay before pay day) and access to a great range of discounts from hundreds of other retailers.
  • Employee assistance programme.
  • Up to 26 weeks' pay for maternity or adoption leave and up to 4 weeks' pay for paternity leave.

Please see www.sainsburys.jobs for a range of our benefits (note, length of service and eligibility criteria may apply).
