As a Recruiter in the retail management hiring team, you will play a key role in delivering end-to-end recruitment across multiple store locations, partnering closely with stakeholders to attract and secure high-quality leadership talent. Working collaboratively and cross-functionally within a team of Recruiters to support the delivery of a high-performing in-house recruitment operation, you will provide a brilliant candidate experience. In a fast-paced, high-volume environment, you will manage hiring activity, drive engagement with store leadership candidates, and ensure a consistent, efficient and positive recruitment journey from attraction through to offer.
What you'll do
As a Recruiter at Sainsbury's within the Group HR division, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of a high-performing in-house recruitment operation and providing a stellar candidate experience. Your responsibilities will include:
- Establishing and nurturing relationships with hiring managers and stakeholders
- Managing complaints and complex queries
- Supporting recruitment campaigns
- Sourcing future talent needs
- Overseeing administrative processes
- Maintaining recruitment systems' accuracy
- Driving continuous improvement within the recruitment team

As a Recruiter for Sainsbury's, you are a dedicated and customer-focused professional with a deep understanding of recruitment challenges in a fast-paced, complex environment. With your experience in sourcing for a wide range of roles, analytical mindset, and strong stakeholder management skills, you play a key role in delivering a high-performing recruitment operation and ensuring a brilliant candidate experience. Your ability to simplify complex information, present recruitment insights effectively, and drive continuous improvement reflects your commitment to delivering an efficient, professional, and candidate-focused recruitment service.
Key qualifications include:
- Proven experience delivering end-to-end recruitment across a range of role types, including both high-volume and specialist or leadership hiring
- Demonstrable ability to partner with hiring managers and stakeholders to understand hiring requirements and provide recruitment guidance, including influencing hiring decisions
- Evidence of sourcing and building candidate pipelines using a variety of methods, including online platforms and direct sourcing approaches
- Ability to analyse recruitment data and produce insights (e.g. MI, trends, or reporting) to support workforce planning and decision making
- Proven capability to manage recruitment processes and systems accurately, including vacancy management, candidate communication, and maintaining data integrity
