What You'll be doing:
- Manage and develop the team through ongoing coaching and feedback to deliver outstanding results
- Implement and embed continuous improvement initiatives to enhance site and centrally driven processes
- Accountable for overseeing van resource allocation, stock inventory, and maintenance to ensure efficient operations
- Respond to customer demands and volume changes by flexing operational resources to meet targets
- Ensure compliance with legal and safety frameworks while being accountable for managing recruitment and headcount requirements
What makes a great Shift Manager:
- Leadership experience in managing a team of managers and team members within a unionised environment
- Proven track record in handling multi-drop delivery and customer final mile delivery operations
- Experienced in delivering on KPI performances to meet budgetary requirements and achieve an optimum cost to serve
