The role holder will be responsible for providing comprehensive deep‑dive Marketplace Analytics and Insights by analysing the performance and impact of the Marketplace proposition across our Digital Channels, including, but not limited to, measuring Marketplace KPIs, understanding any impact on Argos owned products and the key drivers, highlighting any areas of friction across the Customer Experience and identifying opportunities to optimise the proposition.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform deep‑dive, digital‑data‑led analysis of Argos Digital Channel performance, focusing primarily on the Marketplace proposition to generate insights and inform stakeholders of campaign, commercial and customer experience optimisation opportunities.
  • Support the Analytics Manager – Marketplace Analytics as a D&A Digital Analytics subject‑matter expert across Argos Digital Channels.
  • Manage and prioritise D&A Use Cases to ensure on‑time and high‑quality delivery.
  • Collaborate with and support the wider eCommerce, Digital Product Analytics and Marketplace Analytics team, providing a complete and accurate analysis of our end‑to‑end Customer Journey and Digital Channel performance.
  • Triage and assess D&A Use Cases to understand the ask and guide the Data and Analytics approach to deliver requirements.
  • Manage stakeholders across multiple teams and levels.
  • Act as a point of contact between business and technical teams to guide Data and Analytics requirement definition and implementation across the product design lifecycle.
  • Identify new ways to improve and optimise existing ways of working through automation and optimisation, including research into emerging technologies.

What I Need To Know

  • Strong experience in Digital Analytics and insight generation across Marketplace propositions in a digital‑retail click‑and‑collect environment.
  • Expertise in data storytelling, turning complex and technical analytics terminology into clear, unambiguous and engaging business direction.
  • Strong experience analysing data and multi‑source datasets to generate actionable insights from large, complex data environments.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Analytics, GA4, Adobe Target, Heap or similar analytics tools.
  • Expert knowledge of digital data technologies and solutions across the data lifecycle (collection, definition, processing, enrichment, storage, visualisation).
  • Proven ability to influence and manage senior stakeholders across multiple workstreams in a complex retail, omnichannel or digital environment.
  • Experience acting as a subject‑matter expert within a Data and Analytics function and broader business, providing consultancy and direction on digital and customer analytics.
  • Background in translating ambiguous business questions into data use cases, measurement frameworks and KPIs, defining clear success measures.
  • Experience creating programme‑level reporting, executive dashboards or senior‑level progress updates.
  • Knowledge or hands‑on experience with SQL, Python, Power BI, and familiarity with Snowflake, AWS or similar cloud data technologies.
