As the Lead Insight Consultant for Delivery & Propositions at Nectar360, you will be at the forefront of ensuring projects are properly resourced and delivered on time and to the highest standards of quality and insight. Your role will involve overseeing project progress, tracking timelines, and ensuring that all work leaving the team is meticulously quality-checked for accuracy. Additionally, you will lead and develop a team of Insight Consultants, providing commercial and delivery leadership, as well as guiding them in identifying consultancy opportunities and developing insight strategies aligned with client annual plans. Your expertise in category management, consumer insights, and analytics will be instrumental in driving impactful consultancy projects and developing innovative propositions in collaboration with Sainsbury\’s and Nectar360, all while staying abreast of industry developments and raising the visibility of Data & Insights within the organisation and with clients.

Who you are

As a Lead Insight Consultant for Nectar360, you are a highly experienced professional with a background in category management, consumer insights, analytics, or marketing, ideally within the Retail or FMCG industry. Your strong people skills and relationship-building abilities enable you to effectively lead a team of consultants, drive commercial opportunities, and deliver high-impact consultancy projects that provide valuable insights and recommendations to clients. With your eye for detail, passion for numbers, and excellent project management skills, you play a key role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional quality and accuracy in all aspects of insight consultancy and proposition development.

Essential Criteria

  • Experience of working in category management, consumer insights, analytics or marketing function
  • Experience with insight practices and/or other customer data sets and tools e.g. Nielsen, Kantar, IRI
  • Line management experience
  • Able to communicate and present effectively at all levels
  • Experience of working to monthly targets across multiple channels and financial management
