Working in the Store:
Our stores are fast‑paced environments where no two days are ever the same. As a Trading Assistant, you’ll ensure our stores are set up brilliantly to deliver outstanding value, quality and great service to customers.
Eligibility:
The minimum application age is 18 due to working hours and the type of goods you may be required to handle. You must have Right to Work eligibility in the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work as part of a small team to ready the store for customers, providing a convenient and speedy shopping experience.
- Collect stock from the warehouse using heavy roll cages (up to 15 kg) to replenish shelves, serve customers at check‑outs, support deliveries and maintain a clean, well‑presented store.
- Pick and select the best quality products on the shop floor for customers using our On‑Demand grocery ordering service and assist customers with Click & Collect parcels.
- Serve customers brilliantly, answer questions and proactively offer help.
- Build knowledge about our products, services and promotions to provide recommendations.
- Check dates on fresh produce and grocery products.
