Rate: £12.60 per hour. Contract type: Fixed‑Term Assignment. Hours: Part time, 20 hours per week. Shift hours: Thursday 06:30 – 13:30; Friday 06:30 – 13:30; Saturday 06:00 – 13:00. Closing date: 20 November 2025.

As a Food Services Assistant, you’ll be a Christmas Champion ensuring our stores are set‑up brilliantly to provide our customers with a range of great tasting products.

Eligibility

You must have Right to Work eligibility in the UK. If the shifts cover hours earlier than 6 am or later than 11 pm, you must be at least 18 years of age.

What you’ll be doing
  • Preparing, packing and displaying a range of breads, pastries, sweet treats, hot foods and seasonal items so they are enticing for customers.
  • Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards by checking food temperatures, date checking products, disposing of waste and cleaning food areas.
  • Listening to customer needs and providing excellent service, including answering questions and proactively offering help.
  • Replenishing stock to maintain availability and keeping shelves tidy and well‑presented.
  • Building knowledge of products, services and promotions to provide recommendations.
  • Working flexibly across the store as required.
