Sainsbury’s Tech is seeking an Enterprise Architect to tackle complex technology challenges across the retail environment. The role focuses on the customer and loyalty domains, driving key initiatives and ensuring alignment with the organisation’s strategic vision.

What you’ll do:

  • Drive architecture design decisions and influence stakeholders across Engineering, Product, and Architecture teams.
  • Develop architectural artefacts (designs, decision records, transitional architectures) and demonstrate their value to senior leadership.
  • Own problem solving and communicate solutions clearly to cross‑functional teams.
  • Champion Sainsbury’s technology principles, north stars and strategies in all initiatives.

Who you are:

  • Highly experienced Enterprise Architect with a proven record of delivering technology transformation.
  • Strong understanding of retail technology and loyalty platform functionality.
  • Proficient in enterprise architecture modelling and tools across business, data, application, and technology layers.
  • Excellent communicator, able to simplify complex choices and influence director/senior‑management stakeholders.
