Overview
Retail Assistant, Fixed-Term Assignment (Part-time, 12 hours per week). Location: Pontllanfraith Store, Blackwood, NP12 2AN. Rate: £12.60 per hour. This is a part-time, fixed-term role with scheduling that varies to meet store needs.
What you’ll be doing
- Ensure our customers have a great shopping experience by delivering excellent customer service on the tills, at website screens on the shopfloor and at the collection counter.
- Collect products from the stock area for customers, take payments, provide details on financial service offerings for certain products and process refunds.
- Keep the stock room neat and tidy and restock products from deliveries.
- Be present on the shop floor to help customers with questions and provide product recommendations.
- Build knowledge about products, services and promotions to assist customers effectively.
Eligibility and requirements
- You must be above the school-leaving age in your country.
- You must have Right to Work eligibility in the UK.
- Most roles are part-time with shifts across weekdays and weekends; hours vary week to week based on business needs.
Important: Flexibility is required as the store operates between 7:30am and 8:00pm; fixed days/hours are not guaranteed.
