Our stores are fast-paced environments where no two days are the same, especially during our busiest and most magical time of the year. They are at the heart of the local community providing outstanding value, quality and great service. As a Trading Assistant you’ll be one of our Christmas Champions ensuring our stores are set up brilliantly to give our customers everything they come to Sainsbury’s for.
Eligibility
- You must be above the school-leaver age in your country (School leaving age – GOV.UK)
- You must have Right to Work eligibility in the UK
- If shifts cover hours earlier than 6am or later than 11pm, you will need to be at least 18 years of age
What you’ll be doing
- Collecting stock from the warehouse using heavy roll cages (up to 15kg) to replenish items across the store, keeping shelves tidy and well-presented
- Always ready to serve customers brilliantly, supporting with questions and proactively offering help
- Build knowledge about products, services and promotions to provide recommendations
- Date checking fresh produce and grocery products
- Helping across the store as needed and supporting with deliveries as required
