The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

Responsibilities include working closely with a small team of managers to ensure the store runs efficiently every day. You will take responsibility for the daily operations of the store, often being the only manager present with full accountability. Collaborate with your team to complete all tasks, ensuring customers are served efficiently and safely. People management is a significant part of the role, including managing performance and capability, conducting disciplinaries, and ensuring accurate scheduling and pay. Occasionally, you may need to assist another store within our network of convenience stores.

What makes a great customer & trading manager:

  • Previous line management experience in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service and coach a team to do the same.
  • Experience in delivering KPIs or other performance indicators.
  • Capability to manage disciplinaries and performance issues.
  • Operational leadership skills, taking responsibility for store operations in the absence of senior management.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding KPIs, such as sales, availability, customer satisfaction, or colleague engagement.
  • Experience managing employee relations issues, including performance and absence management.

Salary will depend on your experience, as well as the store size, complexity, and location. We offer a range of benefits for our managers, including:
