What you’ll do
As a Recruiter you will support corporate recruitment activities for our General Merchandise division at Sainsbury’s. This will encompass tasks such as conducting vacancy briefings, strategising attraction methods, sourcing and screening candidates, and managing the offer process for a high volume of entry-level vacancies including Merchandisers, Assistant Buyers and Assistant Designers. You will collaborate with hiring managers to ensure a compliant and positive recruitment experience and develop strong relationships with stakeholders. Additionally, you will maintain accurate adverts, utilise resourcing technologies and social networks to source candidates, and proactively gather feedback to ensure customer and candidate satisfaction. It will be important for you to stay updated on new innovations in attraction methodologies and demonstrate a passion for diversity and inclusion. As a Recruiter supporting our GM function, you have a strong passion for talent acquisition, recruitment, and creating engaging experiences for both candidates and hiring managers. Ideally, you’ll have knowledge of recruiting within head office functions and have the ability to source and build diverse talent pools. You have exceptional administrative skills, with the proven ability to coordinate projects and stakeholders, managing changing and conflicting priorities. Your collaborative nature, good judgement, and excellent communication skills enable you to effectively partner with hiring managers and stakeholders & drive initiatives related to diversity and inclusion.
