Online Assistants

Responsibilities

• Picking and selecting the best quality products on the shop floor to fulfill online customer orders and providing substitutions when products are out of stock.
• Using a handset that plans your route around the store, determining what items to pick and estimating completion times.
• Dealing with customer queries, processing orders and assisting Home Delivery drivers by loading vans.
• Providing excellent customer service, answering questions and proactively offering help.
• Building deep knowledge of products, services and promotions to enable accurate recommendations.
• Working flexibly across the store as required.
• Being comfortable learning new digital tools and technology to perform the role effectively.

Requirements

• Experience or willingness to work early morning shifts (starting 4 am) and in a fast‑paced physical environment.
• Friendly and welcoming disposition with genuine enthusiasm for helping customers.
• Strong initiative, problem‑solving skills and responsibility for owning tasks.
• Stamina to lift moving shopping containers up to 15 kg.
• Excellent attention to detail, keeping the store clean, clutter‑free and providing a great shopping experience.
• Above school‑leaver age in your country; if shifts are earlier than 6 am or later than 11 pm, you must be at least 18 years old.
• Right to work eligibility in the United Kingdom.
