Overview

Picking and selecting the best quality products on the shop floor that online customers have ordered ready for delivery, or providing substitutions when items are out of stock. Use a handheld device to navigate the store, select items, and manage time allocations for each shop. Support with customer queries, processing orders, and helping to load vans for Home Delivery Drivers. Build knowledge of products, services, and promotions to provide recommendations. Be flexible across the store as required and thrive in a fast-paced, physical environment. Be ready to work early mornings and in a team or independently as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Pick and select high-quality products for online orders and provide substitutions when needed.
  • Use a handheld device to plan routes, decide what to select, and manage time per shop.
  • Assist behind the scenes with customer queries, order processing, and loading vans for Home Delivery Drivers.
  • Deliver excellent customer service, answer questions, and proactively offer help.
  • Develop strong product, service, and promotion knowledge to provide recommendations.
  • Work flexibly across the store as required and maintain a high standard of service in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain a friendly and welcoming attitude with enthusiasm for helping customers.
  • Use initiative to solve problems and take responsibility for tasks.
  • Be prepared to learn new skills and use new digital tools; assist with moving shopping containers up to 15kg.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Must be above the school-leaver age in your country; if shifts cover hours earlier than 6am or later than 11pm, you must be at least 18 years old.
  • You must have Right to Work eligibility in the UK.
