As a Recruiter at Sainsbury's within the Group HR division, you will support the delivery of a high‑performing in‑house recruitment operation and provide a stellar candidate experience. Your responsibilities include:

  • Establishing and nurturing relationships with hiring managers and stakeholders
  • Managing complaints and complex queries
  • Supporting recruitment campaigns
  • Sourcing for future talent needs
  • Overseeing administrative processes
  • Maintaining recruitment systems’ accuracy
  • Driving continuous improvement within the recruitment team

You will also provide recruitment insights, manage recruitment content on internal sites, and contribute to coaching and learning solutions for HR teams, all while embodying a customer‑led service approach and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience delivering end‑to‑end recruitment across a range of role types, including both high‑volume and specialist or leadership hiring.
  • Demonstrable ability to partner with hiring managers and stakeholders to understand hiring requirements and provide recruitment guidance, including influencing hiring decisions.
  • Evidence of sourcing and building candidate pipelines using a variety of methods, including online platforms and direct sourcing approaches.
  • Ability to analyse recruitment data and produce insights (e.g. MI, trends or reporting) to support workforce planning and decision making.
  • Proven capability to manage recruitment processes and systems accurately, including vacancy management, candidate communication and maintaining data integrity.
