Responsibilities

  • Driving a 3.5 tonne van to deliver groceries to customers’ doorsteps on time and in excellent condition.
  • Completing checks to ensure the van is organised, clean and road‑worthy, and that delivery cases are secure before setting out.
  • Serving customers brilliantly, responding to any questions and substitutions, and keeping them aware of any delays.
  • Building great knowledge about our products, services and promotions to help provide recommendations.
  • Assisting across the store when not making deliveries.
  • Using digital tools and technology effectively and moving shopping containers up to 15 kg.

Qualifications

  • Friendly and welcoming with a genuine enthusiasm for helping customers and providing the best doorstep experience.
  • Proficient driving a large vehicle in different locations, from busy residential streets to narrow country lanes.
  • Happy working in a fast‑paced, physical, high‑energy environment, using initiative to solve problems.
  • Always ready to work flexibly and productively across the store when needed, fully trained in a variety of skills.
  • Comfortable learning new digital tools and technology to do your job brilliantly.
