Responsibilities
- Driving a 3.5 tonne van to deliver groceries to customers’ doorsteps on time and in excellent condition.
- Completing checks to ensure the van is organised, clean and road‑worthy, and that delivery cases are secure before setting out.
- Serving customers brilliantly, responding to any questions and substitutions, and keeping them aware of any delays.
- Building great knowledge about our products, services and promotions to help provide recommendations.
- Assisting across the store when not making deliveries.
- Using digital tools and technology effectively and moving shopping containers up to 15 kg.
Qualifications
- Friendly and welcoming with a genuine enthusiasm for helping customers and providing the best doorstep experience.
- Proficient driving a large vehicle in different locations, from busy residential streets to narrow country lanes.
- Happy working in a fast‑paced, physical, high‑energy environment, using initiative to solve problems.
- Always ready to work flexibly and productively across the store when needed, fully trained in a variety of skills.
- Comfortable learning new digital tools and technology to do your job brilliantly.
