Eligibility
- Above the school‑leaver age in your country (School leaving age - GOV.UK)
- Right to Work eligibility in the UK
- Fully licensed to drive with a full UK/EU driving licence for at least 12 months and no more than 6 points
Whilst many of our roles will be temporary over the festive period, there may also be permanent opportunities available – please check the contract type and schedule hours before applying to ensure that the role is right for you.
What you’ll be doing
- Handle over 60,000 products with care, delivering Argos items straight to customers’ front doors or their preferred collection point
- Load the van and deliver a set number of drops in a shift with guidance from an ePod
- Ensure timely and accurate deliveries with a friendly and professional attitude
- Receive phone support while on the road and follow route guidance to return to the site within shift times
- Practice safe driving and adhere to all guidelines
Qualifications
- Friendly and professional, always taking pride in doing the right thing for our customers
- Reliable and enthusiastic, with a passion for providing excellent customer service
- Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting and carrying goods
- Ability to think on your feet and find solutions to any issues that arise during deliveries (big plus)
